TERM
The “Upload Your Install” contest begins on Sept. 1, 2009 and ends October 15, 2009. All entries must be made via entry on Installercentral.com’s Project Gallery forum after registering.
Individuals posting content retain all ownership rights of submitted materials. However, by submitting photos and text to the Installer Central forums, you hereby grant Mobile Electronics and Bobit Business Media a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicenseable and transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, and display, in connection with Mobile Electronics’ and Bobit Business Media’s (and its successors' and affiliates') business, including without limitation for promoting and redistributing part or all of the Installer Central and me-mag.com websites (and derivative works thereof) in any media formats and through any media channels. You also hereby grant each user of the Installer Central Website a non-exclusive license to view your photos and text through the Website, as permitted through the functionality of the Website and under these Terms of Service.
WHO MAY ENTER
This contest is open only to legal residents of the United States who are 21 years of age or over at the time of entry. Individuals employed by industry manufacturers, Mobile Electronics magazine and contest sponsors are NOT eligible to win. Employees of Mobile Electronics magazine and related brands and employees of industry manufacturers, each of their affiliates and subsidiaries, and their immediate family members (spouse, parent, sibling and their respective spouses, regardless of where they live) or persons living in the same households of such individuals, whether or not related, are not eligible to enter or win a prize. CONTEST IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
HOW TO ENTER
* To enter the “Upload Your Install” contest, all entry photos and related content must be posted on the Installercentral.com’s Project Gallery forums after registering.
* Entries will be judged by a panel assembled by Mobile Electronics. One Winner of the “Mother Lode” Grand Prize will be selected.
* The Entries will be judged in accordance with the Judging Criteria, as defined below.
* Each user can submit images and information for as many different completed installation projects as they want to Installercentral.com’s Project Gallery Forum.
CONTEST PRIZES
THE POTENTIAL WINNER IS REQUIRED TO EXECUTE THE FOLLOWING: (1) AN AFFIDAVIT OF ELIGIBILITY AND LIABILITY RELEASE; (2) WARRANTY OF OWNERSHIP AND LICENSE; (3) PUBLICITY RELEASE; (4) SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER FOR TAX PURPOSES; AND (5) ANY OTHER AFFIDAVITS AND/OR RELEASES OR ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS THAT MAY BE REQUIRED BY PRIZE SUPPLIER(S). UNLESS PROHIBITED BY LAW, THE POTENTIAL WINNER MUST SIGN THESE DOCUMENTS NO LATER THAN 15 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF PRIZE NOTIFICATION IN ORDER FOR SPONSOR TO AWARD THE PRIZE. NONCOMPLIANCE OR RETURN OF PRIZE NOTIFICATION AS UNDELIVERABLE MAY RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION AND, AT SPONSOR’S DISCRETION, SELECTION OF AN ALTERNATE WINNER.

The Approximate Retail Value (”ARV”) of the “Mother Lode” Grand Prize is approximately $6,568. Sponsor will pay for shipping. All other expenses associated with acceptance and use of the prize not stated herein is the sole responsibility of the Winner. All prize details are at Sponsor’s sole discretion.
* Retail value of “Mother Lode” Grand Prize may vary depending on location of Winner’s residence and/or vehicle. Any difference between actual retail value of prize and the approximate retail value will not be awarded.
* No prize transfer, assignment or substitution by Winners permitted. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute any prize in the case of unavailability, in which case a prize of comparable value, determined in Sponsor’s reasonable discretion, will be awarded.
* The winner must remain in possession of the products and install the products in a vehicle within 6 months. The product must be used in a vehicle owned by the winner. The products cannot be re-sold in any way, online or otherwise, within 1 year of the winning date. The Contest winner will be interviewed, and follow-up photos of the installation will be taken within 6 months of winning the products.
* Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
ENTRANT LICENSES/RELEASES
The winning entry, and the Winner’s name and likenesses, may be published by Sponsor and their designees, licensees or affiliates (the “Authorized Parties”), in magazines on websites, or in any other medium, and/or in press releases associated with the “Upload Your Install” contest. By participating, all entrants grant a license in their photos and descriptive text to the Authorized Parties, and acknowledge that the Authorized Parties may use such materials and a name credit in any media now or hereafter known, without restriction. No Authorized Party will be required to pay any additional consideration or seek any additional approval in connection with such use.
JUDGING
1. The Upload Your Install Contest consists of one round of evaluation. A panel assembled by Sponsor will evaluate the entries based on the following criteria:
A-Images submitted: how well the images depict the quality of the installation — 50%
B-Description of install and images: how well the user submitting images explains what is in each photo and communicates what was involved in the install — 50%
The Grand Prize Winner will be chosen on or about October 26, 2009 and notified by phone and/or email by October 30, 2009.
* Decisions of the Sponsor and Judges are final and binding.
* Sponsor reserves the right not to award the prize in the event an insufficient number of eligible entries meeting the minimum judging criteria are received, as determined by Sponsor and Judges in their sole discretion.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
By participating, entrants agree to release, discharge and hold harmless Mobile Electronics and Bobit Business Media, and each of their respective partners (including contest mentors), affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising agencies, agents and their employees, officers, directors, and representatives from any claims, losses, and damages arising out of their participation in this Contest or any Contest-related activities and the acceptance and use, misuse, or possession of any prize awarded hereunder.
CONDITIONS
THIS CONTEST IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. This Contest is subject to federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including tax laws. Certain restrictions may apply. Sponsor is not responsible for late, lost, stolen, mutilated, incomplete, illegible, misdirected, or postage-due mail. Entries void if the Sponsor determines the entry to not be an original, or if the entries are illegible, incomplete, damaged, irregular, altered, counterfeit, produced in error or obtained through fraud or theft.
Participants also agree (a) to be bound by these Official Rules; (b) that the decisions of the Judges are final on all matters relating to the Contest; and (c) if he/she wins that Sponsor may use the winning images and provided text and each winner’s name in any publicity or advertising relating to the Contest or future promotions without compensation or approval (except in Tennessee and where prohibited by law). All federal, state and local taxes, fees and surcharges on prizes are the sole responsibility of the prize winners. In the event that the selected winner of the prize is ineligible or refuses the prize, the prize will be forfeited and Sponsor, in its sole discretion, may choose whether to award the prize to another winner.
NOTIFICATION
The Winner’s name will be available online at Installercentral.com and me-mag.com after October 30, 2009. Entrants can request that they be notified whether they win by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Upload Your Install Contest, c/o Mobile Electronics, 3520 Challenger St., Torrance, CA 90503.
NOTICE TO INDIVIDUALS: REMOVAL FROM MAILING LIST:
Any individual (or other duly authorized person) may elect to exclude the name and address of that individual from all lists used by Sponsor to mail skill contests or sweepstakes. To elect to have an individual’s name excluded from all such lists, submit a removal request in writing to: Upload Your Install Contest, c/o Mobile Electronics, 3520 Challenger St., Torrance, CA 90503. This notification system may be used to prohibit mailing of all skill contests or sweepstakes by Sponsor to such individuals.
